Just bought some Q2's

Hey everyone, I just picked up some new Dunlop Q2's. I was just wondering if anyone thats had them can tell me how much life they got out of them. I don't do track days, mainly daily commute. Thanks in advance. Cheers

I've got 5 track days on a set now!

Sorry, couldn't resist!!!!

But in all seriousness, I take them off the track bike and put them onto my VFR, they so far have held up well, maybe 1500km on them this season, I put them on around late August/September last year and still in really good shape. I wish I could tell you more but I haven't tracked mileage on them and really haven't been on the VFR too much this year... I can say I'm pretty surprised they are still in good enough shape for me to keep them on.

I've got about 12,000k on a pair right now. They've got about another 2,000 left in them.

Are you aware that the Q3's are out now? Some nice improvements over the Q2 for basically the same price.

I looked into the Q3's but I managed to get a good deal on the Q2's. but thanks for the recommendation

Got about 8000km out of my last set before they flattened out to the point it changed turn in. Likely could have got another 2000-3000km out of them before the wear bar would hit. Hands down the best tire I've ever rode on for the street.

In the past 3 years i've been on BT023's/Q2's and 2CT's. I am a firm believer anyone who says the 2CT's are a good tire have not ridden Q2's.

I've got 8000km on the rear and about 800 on the front. The back is starting to show signs of wear.. Probably another few thousand left

8k on my q'2s.
Like glue once they are warm, rain and cold payment however you can keep them.
Won't be buying again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone either. Not that they are that bad but there are much better tires out there.
But if you only ride on warm sunny days tho can't go wrong with the Q2's.

What tires are these, sir?

Got the Q2's put on. So far they feel amazing. Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll look into the Q3's or the Bridgestone's next time.

I'll be getting some Q3's in the near future.
I picked up Q3s in the states and twisty/water tested them ... absolute TOP notch! I tried a set of Pilot Powers in the rain on my buddy's old Gixxer 1000 and damn near killed myself in similar conditions.

When my Q2's need to be replaced I will definitely be upgrading to the Q3's if they last long.

I got almost brand new q2's on the rear of my new bike and the guy gave me brand new qualifier's for the front. Is this a good idea or should I just buy q2/q3 fronts?

Sorry for the hijack op but sounds like q2's are decent tires

Personally I'd go for the q3s on the front and then when your Q2 rear wears out just get a Q3 to replace it.
