A little late to post this up, but just thought I would throw this out if anyone is interested since it's going to be a beautiful day and because an unexpected day off work sometimes means an unexpected day of riding!

This is a paved roads only ride. Here's the approximate route and it includes most of my preferred roads like #518/Ravenscliffe, Kushog Lake Rd, Harburn Rd and lots more. I'm planning for about 10-12 hours...

I hope to leave Toronto between 7-8am and I'd like to be back before dark. I'll probably pack a lunch/snacks, so I can eat with a nice view (beside a lake) and spend my money on gas than at a restaurant. I do like to stop every now and then for pictures and stuff, but I like to pack in as many roads as possible considering it's my first ride of the year.

I ride at a mature, spirited pace in the curves and take it easy through small towns and on straight roads.

If you are interested, then post up and we can try and work out a meeting spot.

Cheers!

ok let's do this.. shane, do you want to meet somewhere in toronto or see you at essa?

Good ride. A little too much gravel on Ravencliff and Southwood, but a good run none the less.

Next time let's leave at 7 :)

Loose battery cable have me starting problems . who knew a quarter turn could give me so much grief ! Good ride though

That's what that was? Well, glad all is resolved. Electrical gremlins are the worst of them all..

Sorry I didn't see this until just now, otherwise I would have done the ride up with you. That was a decent first ride of the season for me too and it was nice to ride with you guys again - next time> yes, we can start it up earlier.

Jay it was nice to meet you too and I'm sorry for being a few minutes late to the start - wrong Timmes:)

no, I met up with the others at 10am, so the late start + the roads up near Kennisis Lake were sure to be sandy, so they will have to wait until next time:)
