I was riding home this afternoon and saw a tree with a bunch of flowers piled around it outside a bunch of town-houses on The Renforth (just outside Centennial park). On top of the tree, there was a helmet nailed into it, surrounded by purchased flowers which were laid against the tree. The flowers were fresh and I haven't seen this on my journey last week. Perhaps this one went unreported?

Does anyone know who that was or what happened?

Made the news a month and a bit ago..

knowing very well where that is, that is on renforth drive near Eringate drive. Either the entrance to a town house complex or the timmies on the north east side of the intersection. This is the only fatality that I am aware of that occurred in that area this year.

this area is a posted 40 zone with schools and churches in the area. Highly residential low rise and an older apartment complex area near rathburn and the west mall...

That's the one - Nice find Haxors. The memorial is still going strong. It's nice to see a rider is not forgotten.
