So what happens to everyone that is with them already with SS?
Will they get renewed or will they just not let them renew?

It will likely be:

0 -- 00MO - 12MO of experience
1 -- 12MO - 24MO of experience
2 -- 24MO - 36MO of experience
3 -- 36MO+ of experience

It used to be:

0 -- 00MO - 12MO of experience
1 -- 12MO+ of experience

This more refined segmentation is good news for experienced riders (since their premium should come down a little) but bad news for inexperienced riders (since their premium will likely increase anywhere from a little to not-so-little). The experienced riders will not be subsidizing the inexperienced riders as much.

Thanks Corey. Any idea on what the premium drops will be as you progress through the age bands?

Yeah, I went from 1600 to 2072 =(

does the FZ6 counts as a sport or standard?

From the standard 30-34 its as follows

35-39 - 4%
40-44 - 12%
45-49 - 12%
50&over - 8%

I'm assuming that these aren't cumulative drops (meaning that the 50+ operator actually pays more than the 45-49 operator)?

Don`t know how this works .But Echelon renewal was $1400 and jevco is $1048.

My apologies. These are the discount rates using the base rate of 30~34 age group

That makes sense. I would expect the 40-49 group to be less of a risk than the 50+ group.

I guess that only leaves state farm for new drivers. Maybe td. Glad I'm not a new driver but do feel bad for guys who want to drive with a 250 or even 125 butl have to pay arm and leg.

oh goodie, last year my renewal wasn't too bad, altho i still think it's high for a 250. Can't wait to see what it's going to be this year

does this include the 250r? I just renewed the other day and I'd like to have another company lined up if they're gonna cancel on me

Insurance has gone up for 2 years in a row and I have a clean record lol fuuuuu
