HI..

Thought I should throw up a quick intro. Hope this is the right place to do so.....

Moved here from the UK, just over 2 years ago. Together with my wife and youngest son and 12 week old Border Collie. Eldest son is still back in the UK.

Filled up 2 containers with all our stuff..... House contents, 1969 Dodge A100 pickup street/strip beast. Triumph Bonneville strapped to the bed, and a 1964 Plymouth Fury.

Things were good for a few months.... Then my company dived back in the UK! The recession hit us hard.
So, the A100 had to go, as we were living off our savings.... A couple of days ago the Bonnie was sold off... I still have the Fury here, but all 3 of us are unemployed at the moment... But hey, we have our health! And things can turn around in a heartbeat!

We are looking to the future in a positive manner. I am head designing my next bike, this time it will be a bobber! British of course, may even be a single cylinder! But will be pretty plain n simple. Well apart from the paint. I am a custom painter and airbrush artist, so my vehicles tend to get painted quite often.

Welcome to the forum!!

Hi Jeff,
Welcome to the forum and a Merry Christmas to you & your family. I am sure things will be looking brighter in the new year. We are always in the Orillia area as my wife's family are there, so hopefully we can hook up for a ride in the spring.

Thanks guys.... Bike has been sold off Daryll.... So I can't see me riding next year. I will be concentrating on finding work I think.

Welcome, I'm not in that area but perhaps if there are some people on the forum from up that way who need painting done they could help a GTAMer out with some work.

Welcome, post pics of your previous paint jobs and maybe work will find you.

It never hurts to advertise what real job you are looking for as many people on here are helpful and may have something.

There's also a sticky thread for job seekers in the Romper Room;

http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?93402-Laid-off-GTAM-Members-looking-out.....

Welcome, and let's see some of your work!

P.S.
You should probably double-check the rules (because we've all read them at least once, right ;-)) about advertising on GTAM if you're gonna start using the site to seek work. Some places pay a bit of coin to generate business from the forum.

Thanks for that.... I have no problem giving a percentage to the forum if it generates work. I will look into that for sure.
