IYO, recommended spots/places for fireworks, Canada Day in the GTA

what the **** is an IYO?

what the **** is an IYO?

All these f'ing acronyms are making my head hurt. I just figured out the other day what IIRC is. Da fuq?

Niagara Falls or Canada's Wonderland.
I usually make the trip to Niagara with my girl, we rode out last year but I'm not sure if I'll be riding out there this year or just drive down.
Either way, it's always a good time.

Great! Thanks for the recommendation, I was debating riding or driving also to Niagara. :D
It was nice taking the back roads, but it was a 700 KM's round trip from Ajax and back.
2 up on an SS is not easy on your body. lol

Take the bike to niagara falls...you'll regret driving 'cause of the traffic jam. At least with the bike, you can lane split (if you're cool with that). Trust me, you'll get stuck in Niagara falls if you drive.

Honestly the beaches here aren't bad, either. Lots of bikes out afterwards and you can find a ride somewhere/just tag along with a random group.

Was at ashbridges bay last year. They were pretty good there. Get there very early though, as in before noon.

Toronto harbour front is a popular spot isn't it? I used to like relaxing on my 20th floor balcony and watch the panoramic glitter from mississauga to scarborough.

Ashbridges bay is the one I use to go to all the time, but I figured it's time to venture out of comfort zone and check out other recommended spots.

I am sure that will look beautiful, but I think I am more into being at a specific location and feeling the burst of the firework in my chest if you know what I mean ;)

Richmond Green in Richmond Hill @ Leslie and Elgin Mills Road E has a huge park and insane fireworks. Usually packed, but lots of people go to the plaza nearby park and watch fireworks. It's pretty insane over there.
