a current MotoGp/WSBK rider...just too good to be a mere mortal.

He was probably taking it easy because he didn't want to risk his life for a video. Keeps the bike well under him at all times.

And thats why I think its a pro, that lap time is....damn near impossible for a mere mortal. Yet the bike never seems to be pushed very hard. I could see a current WSBK/MotoGp (maybe not the top tier guys) but doing this for a lark. 7:26 on a bike, with traffic, constantly changing road surfaces and that amount of concentration needed...its gotta be a pro.

It's probably some brit commuter.

oh I see you guys are watching the video I made on my way to work...

The vast majority of professional riders wouldn't go anywhere near that because of the lack of safety.

In addition to that, their contracts likely forbid unnecessary risks and unsanctioned demonstrations.

$5 on Richard Hammond, after some additional coaching from whatshername.

Keep in mind thats a bridge to gantry laptime which isn't the full track. It's about 20-30 seconds shy of an actual full lap.

Still fookin fast!!!

Bike for sale
never raced, never abused.
Just don't have time to ride

he made everyone else look like they are walking lol

No way in hell is that a MotoGP or WSBK rider...The biggest fact of going fast on the 'Ring is knowing it....which means riding it ALL the time. Sabine Shmidtz (sp?) the so called Queen of the Nurburing has gone around there 20000 times and she still says she doesnt know the track 100%.

I watched the whole video. :happy3:

Me too. The hair on my arms was standing up the whole time.
Any info on what type of bike was used? Most likely a litre-bike of some sort is my guess.

naah, hes speed on the straightaways wasnt climbing fast enough to be a liter, most likely a 600cc

Then that was one heck of a 600cc bike then. :D
Definitely handles the turns pretty well to maintain his speed most of the time.
