Ride for Sight is almost here! Just over 2 weeks until the largest and longest running motorcycle charity rally in all of Canada!
Ride for Sight is June 16-18 at the Fenlon Falls Fairgrounds, Fenlon Falls, ON. Gates open Friday after 3pm. All you need is to raise $75 per person and that gets you:
- Onsite camping
- Entry into the motorcycle parade Saturday
- Complimentary pancake breakfast at the parade kick off
- Show 'n' shine
- Bike games
- Vendor market place with food and goods
- Live music
- Shenanigans and malarkey!
The parade itself starts at Springvale Baptist Church in Stouffville. 3885 Stouffville Rd. Whitechurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 7X5. There will be a free pancake breakfast compliments of Enbridge before heading off to Fenlon Falls. Registration starts at 8am, breakfast at 9am, remarks at 9:30am and departure at 10am!
Classy Chassis and Cycle are hosting our annual show n shine and Marcus Martellacci from Motorcycle Mojo Magazine will be a guest judge! Winners receive a prize pack from Classy Chassis, a year's subscription to Motorcycle Mojo and of course the bragging rights! 5 categories to enter in: American Touring, European Touring, Asian Touring, Cruiser and Custom.
Friday night we are having our "Friday night foodie fest" where our 5 food vendors have cooked up a special dish for Ride for Sight that costs just $5! Come and taste their creations as these chefs battle to be crowned "Rider's Favorite"! The vendors are" Fenlon Food Booth, Get Fried, All Smoked Up, Bacon Crazy, and Cha Cha Churros.
Live music Friday and Saturday night by: Kris Barclay, LOLA, Lefty and the Goons, Manic Mouth, Cashed in Kings, Martian Rebel and head-lining Saturday night is Bad to the Bone (George Thoroughgood tribute)!
The GRAND PRIZE this year is a trip to any Ride for Sight anywhere in Canada in 2018 to celebrate Ride for Sight's 40th anniversary!
Want to come to Ride for Sight but also want to help out? Ride for Sight is looking for volunteers at the parade kick off in Stouffeville and in Fenlon Falls all weekend.
As for Team GTAMotorcycle, we are currently in 2nd place in the team fundraising challenge. We have won this challenge every year since it began and are gunning for 1st place again! If you're coming to RFS why not join team GTAM and your fundraising total will also count towards the team's total! We always have a great time camping together and hanging out. We welcome any and all GTAM members to camp with us or, if you're just up for the day we invite you to hang out at our site or just pop in and say hi! Just look for the GTAM tent in the field or some sport bikes with Ride for Sight flags on the back of them and you'll find us!
