Hi all,

I am planning to take M1 license and thinking about CBR125R for my first bike.
I was looking websites of dealers but they don't provide the information about 2011 models.
Are they still have any stock of new 2011 CBR125R? I want to know how much is the current price.

2011 and 2012 models are sold out from Honda. Some dealers might have 2012 models left but you will have to call around.

You could also buy it used but I would be a little weary about buying a 125 used.. Also, it would be my advice to take the course first (M1 exit) and once you pass, then get a bike. Takes the added stress of HAVING to pass since you already invested in a bike off the table. And if you've never ridden and plan on riding as soon as you get your M1, make sure you get someone who rides to show you the basics. It can be overwhelming and there's a LOT to take into consideration and understand before you get out there in traffic with people who never see us.

Nothing wrong with buying a used CBR125R A quick search on kijiji showed several with under 5000 kms.
Short of running them without oil it's pretty hard to beat a bike in under 5000 k :)

I'm having issues with a used 125 but it's very used so I guess that's why I'm biased. It's the first used bike I've ever had. Plus, I always buy new but that's just because I don't want to inherit other people's problems. The 125 is definitely a great learner bike but is quickly out grown.

So there is no 2013 version of it? I heard they have reduced the price for new bike, whats the price?

Yes, there is a 2013 version of it but I think the OP wants an older one. With the new 2013s, they've also added it in tri-colour.

Oh, Thank you all.
Yeap, I am planning to have M1 and M2 first, and purchase a bike. Surely include a safety course too.
I'm keep checking the readyhonda website and other dealers, but I couldn't find the price information of 2013 CBR125R. I'm also thinking about the used bike, but I'm still in worry because I'm not sure that I can pickup the one in the right condition. That's why I prefer to see a new one....if it is affordable for me.;)

Best thing to do is give some of the dealerships in your area a call to find out a price. I tried finding a price for a new 2013 online and was having difficulty.

I know the feeling of wanting a new bike, trust me. I purchased a brand new 250 as my first bike and thought "Hey! It's a 250, I won't get bored of it- I'm going to keep it FOREVER:D:D::D!". 'One Season Later' "WTF IS THIS? I WANT MORE POWER!!!!"

It's great to start on a small bike but most new riders only want a small bike to learn on and then upgrade to something bigger only one or two seasons later.
