is it cooler to ride a naked bike during hot summer?

My naked SV is def much cooler in the head when riding. I am thinking of getting a wind sheild though for the highway though I have yet to find one I like the look of.

Side note though..... Not so much if you have an air-cooled naked bike....such as myself...... It gets hot between the legs. Not too bad when moving but in stopped traffic, look out! Lol
 
It depends on how humid it is. If its a really humid day, the wind makes it feel like your riding into a hair dryer. Hot air is not refreshing on a naked or on anything.
