I'll take them over gypsy moths (or whatever todays politically correct term is for them) any day. That summer a few years ago was brutal. I killed something like 100,000 caterpillars on two trees I wanted to survive.
 
AFAIK neither brood XIII or brood XIX are found in Ontario and for that I am very grateful
