With that being said....i got FIVE IPT invites and i feel like being in a generous mood.

You MUST maintain a good ratio even with their BS of every torrent having to be 1:1 (lets not go into that, its still an awesome site)

Am I missing something here? Why do u need an invite for torrents when u can get it on piratebay or some other site?

Public trackers are much more prone to attention of Content owners. Your IP is exposed for the world to see.

Ahh, young grasshoppa, you have much to learn. For one, its brutally fast, it will max out your connection 99% of the time. The trackers are secure, guaranteed 100% to be legit without malware/spyware/viruses on them. They have stuff that public website simply dont.

Let me put it another way. If i ever have to download from Torrent Bay or something else, its like i'm using a public washroom at a concert...Good god...

IPT and other private trackers are like the presedential suite with heated toilet seats that were cleaned 10 minutes prior...

Yeah public sites are dirty and slow, public washroom analogy is perfect comparison. But there are still a couple out there that are not too bad and tend to be good sources for older/obscure stuff. The private sites tend to cycle through new content fairly quickly and so its harder to find old/obscure stuff on them.

PirateBay is one of the worst ones out there and no doubt, some of those torrents are monitored. I know somebody who was using Pirate Bay as their sole source of torrents and he got several complaint/warning letters from his ISP about d/l copyrighted material.

I've been using PirateBay for over a year with no letter yet, but I DL mainly tv shows. Any other time I use isohunt. It took about 10mins to DL the walking dead on Monday from the PirateBay, I think that's pretty damn fast.
