Hey so maybe someone could help me with this, so i like to go for rides and just follow different roads that i havent been on . The problem with that is that i usually end up forgeting the names of the roads and how to get to them.
So my question is,
Is it possible on the iphone maps to start a trip and have the phone draw a line as i am ridding ? Pretty much while in ridding can the iphone store the entire route i took?
I hope this makes sense and ppl undertstand what i mean.
Maybe theres an app that does that? Please let me know

on android you can use Google Tracks... Maybe there's Tracks for iPhone?

Edit: Not from google but does the same:

How about using something like a fitness app? I know that mycoach will track where you go along with speeds etc.

The map will show the route once you finish it up, so it's an option although not ideal.

The best GPS soft for Android is LOCUS (free). You can download vector maps (free) and use it in offline mode as well as download satellite image from Google or Yahoo (free) and use them as offline maps. You also can tracking you movement.

I used Locus for boating/traveling for couple years and prefer it over OruxMaps/Maveric/Essential.

This was just posted!!http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?170154-What-s-the-BEST-motorcycle-GPS-iPhone-app

Download pirelli diablo super biker....

It draws a line on the map just like you are asking, also tells you your lean angles and speed at any point on the map.

Pay the $10 and download CoPilot GPS for iPhone. Probably the best GPS app for riders as you can change the routes and mark waypoints etc. So combine it with best bike roads or something similar, map the route out and ride. It can also record your tracks (which is what you're looking for) so you could save the route for another time.

Bonus too is you can download maps offline so you don't need data when travelling with it. I just did 1000 miles through Napa, Ca using it and it worked great.
