Not so much a self introduction (did that already). But after a season zipping about everywhere with my old 250R, I put her away thinking my riding was done for the year. Little did I know, on a random trip out to GP Bikes, I would be introduced to my new girl, a 2012 Ducati 848 EVO Corse. It was love at first sight, sexy and seductive. She looked lonely in the showroom with very few people looking for a winter romance. She was dressed for attention, standing out against the racier Panigales. So I figured, "why not go say hello?".
I invited her home.
Of course the old 250R wasn't happy with me, calling me a womanizing bastard and whatnot. I tried to explain it wasn't like that, but she wouldn't hear it. So I reluctantly let her go... I'll miss my old 250R. Heartbreak and new love over the holidays, but excited to get to know my new girl better!
