I have an issue once and a while starting my bike especially when it has been sitting outside in the heat.
It starts but runs rough and only at about 1000 rpm and drops, usually to a stall. If I want to restart it, I have to add throttle then start it. I know what clears it, and it is not good for the bike on a cold engine. So if I blip the throttle a couple of times to around 6-7000 rpms everything stabilises and is OK. It runs normally again at about 1200 rpm, I can go ride and there is no more issue.
This happens once in a while, maybe every second week or so, I ride every day.
Any ideas what that is, and if there is a fix, or a better solution than blipping a cold engine?
