i was wondering if anyone could help with a rate for insurance,
i am a new rider in canada, I have been ryding in singapore for many years.
i have been in canada for 20years but di not get a chance to have a bike until now.

They don't have insurance in Singapore? And you've been in Canada for 20 years and this is how you expect to obtain motorcycle insurance?

Your best option is to shop around, different companies will rate you differently and they will take into consideration the bike you have, your riding experiance, age and gender. No two quotes will be the same. Make some calls.
 
Check the Insurance subforum for a list of Motorcycle friendly brokers, and check out the flow charts as well.
 
all statefarm agents would give you the same quote so just call anyone of them? and just call td, jevco (john duffy), rider's plus. etc.

In my experience State Farm agents will be very consistent with their estimates. Brokers will be different even if they underwrite the same companies for some reason.
