Insurance Quote M1 Ninja 250

Just got a quote of 1800 +112 for theft and fire with an M1 for less than a year and age 24. My birthday is August 13, spoke to Duffy who said that they can offer me a 25 year old rate 30 days in advance. (No g licence)

Which means I have to wait 22 days before I get my bike.

The next year the rate will drop to 900

Not to sound impatient but is there no way to get a temp weekly insurance in the interim?

There is no temp insurance for motorcycles.
If you have a policy active for 1 to 30 days, and cancel anywhere during that time there would be a retained premium of 15%
 
Should I go ahead and purchase the bike now and get the paper work ready?

and the chance of getting it stolen. I'd get it on the same day or a day before if possible.
