So currently i got a quote from desjarden for my 09 ninja 250.

A bit of info of myself
21, GM2. I have my G1 for about 4 years now so state farm is no go, but luck me i have my M2 for a year now!

Here is my quote with desjarden

2477$
1million liabality
300 collison
300 comphrensive

1468 (liablity only)
1million liablity

1570$
1million liablity
+ theft

Also good thing is, they accept monthly payments! So range from around 120-200$ per month.

Where else should i check? For sure TD, Rider Plus should i check with rbc insurance?

My quote with Desjardins was over 2.5X the quote from State Farm... doesn't really help you but I would be surprised if Desjardins is cheapest for you.

Definitely call around..

That's not a bad quote. I was paying $180/mo for my first year and I was under 25 when I started as well.

you think possible to get full coverage for around 150/month? is there places i should avoid? Doesn't seem like people are too happy with jevco/intact

People aren't too happy with Jevco/Intact cause they raised rates (for most people) and added a lot of bikes to their blacklist.

$1570 is pretty good for a ninja250 at that age and I would think its the best you would get - although it is always better to call around just incase.

I am paying around $1450 for a cbr125 with SF, turning 22, but have an at fault in a car on my record.

It's really your choice if you think paying an extra $900 a year for collision is worth it. It wasn't for me cause it is literally more than half my bike for me to add collision.

So uh, HOW? I'm 22 and live in Hamilton, and pay double that for my 83 gs400. I'm pretty sure that a 250/125 wouldn't have made that quote any lower. Who are you with, and how long have you had your license?

SF charges (mostly) by engine displacement when it comes to calculating your premium based on your bike so it probably would have made a difference which is why many SS riders find SF more affordable.

G for 6 years, M1/M2 2 1/2 years or so.

ok bump, i have 1 at fault accident and 1 not at fault accident. Bumped my quote with desjarden to 2652 for liablity + theft.

Is there somewhere that only looks at motorcycle history
