I obtained my M2 years ago (I believe I did the Sheridan course) in 2004. Right around that time I began travelling extensively (100%) for work, so motorcycle aspirations were put on hold.
Fast forward 5 years and my M2 was up for expiration. I was still jet-setting for work so I just let it expire. Fast forward to now, and I am finally local, 33 years old, with some riding experience through the years but no M2.
So I have signed up for RTI at the end of September to reinstate my M2. My question is, how will insurance treat me for the 2013 riding season? Presumably I will have an M2 as of Sept '12, but can I claim the old M2 (from '04) for insurance purposes?
Used search, but didn't find much ... any ideas?
