Insurance Help

Basically I'm starting to get the ball rolling in terms of obtaining my bike licence since I moved here a couple of weeks back.

As I am from the UK my riding history has been recording which means I need to pass the written paper and can take my M2X straight away.

I have contacted ridersplus but they will only insure once you have passed the M1exit. I need someone who will insure having only passed the written paper. So then I can take the ridertraining.ca m2x safety course.

I figured I am better taking a safety course than the test to polish out any bad habits and to allow me to better adjust to the roads here.

I would like a 650 but with the couple of quotes coming back so far it seems I may suck it up and just get a 250 for my first year.

In my first season, when I got insured by Primmum (now TD, I believe), I hadn't yet taken the course, I just had my M1. I had to give them the dates that I was booked to take the course. They insured me over the phone, and then after I took the course they did a follow-up phone call to make sure I passed

are there any insurance companies here that are over there ?

I ask this because when I went stateside because at the time I had AllState here they gave me credit for all my time being insured up here while I had my policy stateside. I was not with SF and SF stateside wanted 3x the amount.

If you can find an insurance company here that is also back in the UK they may give you credit for time riding ?
