Any particular insurance company that gives great deals on vintage street bikes? I read a few raves on Desjardins so decided to call and they will insure it for the same amount SF will insure a sport 600cc for me.

New rider, above 28, cleaning diving record. I asked them if they quoted me $1900 because of my new M license, he said no. Says it's because of my bike. wtf? lol It's an old street bike man, not even antique or anything

Interesting, I was quoted just under 400 bucks, for my 83 GS750E and similar price for my 85 FZ750, one or the other not both together...

Maybe you can try Intact ? which I have now and am paying 720, but it ends in August, and that is when I was going to switch to Dejardins

Desjardins quoted you under $400? That's strange. I'll maybe call again.

And I notice you have the GS750, do you know of any place I can get parts? I need a tank and seat (1982 silver GS750_

I was paying 550 per year for my 91 GS750 with DGI. That was until last year when she died. It is being dropped off soon the Clarinbgton cycle who may work on it or part it out. I am transferring it to them to do as they please.

I got insurance at a decent rate through Rider's Plus - no mileage restrictions and allowance to be in the US for 6 months (iirc) at a time with no coverage problems.

RP used to not touch riders under 25, or bikes over 25!

Maybe try getting a quote through a Co-operators agent?
