TD MM quoted me $1795. Can an Insurance agent contact me with their number to discuss rates and options?

Anybody know the requirements for TD mm insurance.. Like statefarm has age and class of license

For sportbikes I think their best rates are over 30, Full M and you have to be a part of a professional orginization, attend certain universities or some unions.

You can always get an online quote from TD MM as well. When I checked, they didn't have any requirements and were okay to give a quote for the S1000RR to someone holding a M2. Mind you it was $2800 per year for their best coverage though. :)

The best rate I could get on my 05 GSXR1000:

37, married. 21 yrs full M, no tickets or claims. $1300ish full coverage.
Dunno if you're gonna do any better than what you have found.
Don't buy a bike without checking insurance. I check BEFORE I buy a bike, because the insurance will sway my decision on what to buy. These days it isn't uncommon for insurance to cost more than the bike payments.

You could have all the same options, almost as light a bike, almost as much power, and much cheaper rates with a Multistrada.....and it'd be way more comfy and useful. Thats the way I'd have gone.

And CC of bike, doesn't matter if it's a SS or a cruiser, the higher CC will always pay more, ie. HD 1200 vs. a CBR 1000 for statefarm.

Take the TD online quote widget with a grain of salt. Online I got about $1500, while on the phone I got about $900. (Different bike.)

TD MM online quoted me around $4500/year on a CBR600RRA -- I called them (currently have my 250, car, and condo with them) and they quoted me $1700/year over the phone. M2, 30yo male, clean record, living in Scarborough.

You guys should give allstate a call. I went from 156 at state farm, to 100 and change at allstate, settled at 65 a month at allstate after bringing over my cars.

Im 30, full M and the bike is an 07 cbr1000rr.

+1 . I got a quote for an 10 S1000RR for $1200 through TD.
If i brought over my truck or car or both, it would go lower than that.

I'll give him a ring for quote for my RR, SF is good @ $1050, car and house are also good, wife's car is a bit pricey (and its not fancy).
