Installing fuel pump, Use a sealant?

So I took the tank and fuel pump off my F4i to get painted and purchased a new gasket for the install, Question is, should I use some sort of sealant as well? or will the gasket be fine by itself?

Thanks, I have been hearing mixed responses, but I was worried that maybe the sealant would get in the gas
