So, I was travelling westbound from Toronto today, took the Lakeshore, hit some heavy stop-and-go traffic. Somewhere around Mississauga or so I decided to make a right turn in one of the streets in hope of getting to the highway, I was really super tired and bored.
So, I get to the service road next to highway, no cars, everything empty like the desert, and it's already dark... I see straight path, and what can I say----I am ashamed, but couldn't resist the temptation....I killed it....1st redline...2nd...click 3rd....and I see some kind of red blinking light on the right side of the road, kinda high on a pole (right here where this map points: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=43.52...sspn=0.012493,0.027874&num=1&vpsrc=0&t=m&z=16)
Needless to say, I must have been in the 120-130, and it's probably 60 kph road....ashamed, yes....but what was that? Are there speed cameras that make photos at night and send you tickets? Can somebody tell me more about that?
PS. Please don't flame now how I shouldn't be speeding and all...I know that, and I'm ashamed...but one thing added to another, my eyes saw an open road with nobody on it, my tired brain made the childish decision....so please, focus on my question. Thanks!
