I'm farkling out my new bike and I'm seeing a huge price increase compared to when I went through the same process back in 2021.

2021 Pazzo Levers: $250.87 all in
2022 Pazzo Levers (exact same model): $278.87 all in

11% increase.

I ordered my 2022 model last year, so they honoured the '21 prices. It's only a slight 1% increase, but the dealer's freight+pdi changed considerably.

2021 Freight+PDI: $1185
2022 Freight+PDI: $1300

10% increase.

Anyone else see similar increases?

I think FC-moto just bumped their prices (or reduced "sale" discount) by 5-10%. Judging by items I have in my Wishlist on their website..

Also I ordered Yoshi exhaust a month ago and right now the USD price on their webiste (total with shipping) is the same I paid in CAD, thanks god I did buy it :)

I'm trying to get all the shopping for the bikes done before the riding season starts up.

Apart from rising prices, I predict there'll be a huge rush on inventory once again, as soon as the weather warms up. I don't want to be stuck waiting on parts like I was last year. Basically from April onwards till the end of the season there was nothing in stock.

Manufacturers and retailers only started to replenish inventory much later on in the year.

They COULDN'T replenish inventory. Supply chain, raw material and manufacturing problems created the shortages and price increases.

Of course. That goes without saying.

The point was that buying everything you need for the riding season now is better than waiting for when everyone gets the same idea in April.

Very true.

2018 Pazzo knock-offs: $20.01 USD all in
2022 "5D" levers of similar form and function from same seller: $33.52 USD all in

On supply subject. Thanks to everyone who recommended FC-Moto here - they have pretty much everything I needed in MY size (what I couldn’t find anywhere in Canada unfortunately), plus 20-30% cheaper on average then here in CA, 3ish weeks delivery to my door by Canada Post with no any surcharges (yet - 3 shippings so far). I wish my budget was bigger as everyday it seems I “need” more and more things on their website. And as I said it seems they bumped their prices shortly after NY by 5-10%….
The other famous here online store Cromebuster (?) - they are in worse shape - nothing but “sold out” there for what I needed..

Our Canadian distributors are a bit slow to update their inventories compared to stateside or Europe.

If FortNine or any of the other CDN retailers show out of stock (they all have the same distributor), my next stop is US or Euro online retailers, eBay International, and then worse-case, go to the manufacturer's site directly. Most distributors/retailers get a manufacturer's discount that they can pass onto customers to keep customers from going direct to the manufacturer all the time, but if there's no inventory... then maybe you pay a bit more to get what you want, when you want it.

Did you try here for the Pazzo's?

I'm on the hunt for a new bike and have targeted a few models but will wait for the Bike Show next month and see what kind of a wait will be in place.

When I shopping for a used R3 last year, everyone was asking almost what the dealer wanted for a brand new bike. It's gotten really bad with buying a used car now - prices are so inflated.
