Looking to head down on Friday for the show, is the parking at the Convention Centre reasonable given it is a weekday Are there less expensive options close by? Thanks for any help.

Inexpensive parking for the Motorcycle show?

Inexpensive parking and downtown doesn't mix (you are looking at 15 bucks I believe, unless you don't mind walking a lot) ... you also might have a hard time to find a place, because it's a weekday, unless you are going in the evening after everyone working leaves.

I was just about to say that. Take the TTC to Union and take the skywalk acorss. Finch station has free parking on weekends.

It's a few blocks away, but you can park in the tract lot, west of spadina on the south side of wellington for $5-6 all night and all day on weekends. It's then a 3 block walk to the convention centre north building, and you can walk inside from there. Cheapest parking in the neighborhood.
cheapest parking is a motorcycle. they have free parking for them at the entrance.

I always just park at Yorkdale then Subway it to Union.
I took the day off as there is other shopping I need to do that is not close by or on transit routes. Will have to check out the Windsor street venue, thanks.
You're pretty much SOL for cheap day parking on the weekdays. Green p at front & university (30 seconds away from the convention centre) is 6 bucks after 7pm (but you're looking at 18 before 7). & it's $7 for a 12 hour period on the weekends.
If you're really that set on saving money while taking the car, it's 9 bucks until 6pm & 5 bucks for the night at church & esplanade (but it'll be about a 10 minute walk)

This is my secret parking lot. Hard to find because it's in a laneway. Underground, reasonably priced, secure and open until midnight.

That's the one the wife and I always use when parking in that area. I actually installed the gates and fee computer there a few years back.

These guys are the best. Safe underground parking, and usually $10 flat rate on week days. If you are lucky, may even get $5.
Yup, that's the one. Can access it either from Windsor St. or Blue Jays Way.
