Increase in Victims Surcharge???

Is this proposal going to affect the victim surcharge that is attached to speeding and other HTA related offences?

It says "criminals" so I am going to assume no.

Everyone is commenting "well criminals do not have money etc..." listen folks, this is a huge tax for the rest of the population.

The Federal Victim Surcharge only comes into effect for Criminal Code and Controlled Drug and Substances Act offences.
