Hey all,
So thought I'd try two more things before I get rid of the bike to try and make it more mine and maybe change my mind about it. Plus the guy with the CB500X for 3700 hasn't responded since I came back!

1. Picked up a slip on exhaust to liven the bike up a bit and it didn't come with a mid-pipe. Anyone know where I can get one? Dimensions are as follows:
- Length (total): 18cm
- OD of pipe where exhaust disconnected: approx 1-7/10" / 44mm
- OD of exhaust where mid-pipe would connect: approx 2" / 52mm

2. Windshield to make it more livable on longer rides

Anyone know where I can get a mid-pipe done? I picked up an 18cm 2" pipe from a muffler shop but it's too big one one end, and too small on the other. I've seen people connect this exhaust directly without a mid-pipe but it doesn't seem stable or able to stay in that position for long.

I'm sorry but I can't seem to rotate the pics...they're fine on my comp but rotate once I put them in.

Wait :I don't get it, how can it be a slip on exhaust if it doesn't slip on to something or is there suppose to be a cat converter pipe in there?

I think I have a little windshield around here somewhere :|
 
I think you are suppose to just jam it on there:

That one looks bigger then his :unsure: and he rides the cruiser 500

What was your fuel consumption before?
:LOL: I bet you that windshield it's going to eat more fuel, make a lot of noise and lose power probably off top end.

lol the whole bike is made in Thailand isn't it?
and Siamsilver on the photo was a pretty good hint, for those who are old enough to remember Thailand is Siam.

Highly advise you don't throw away the original parts.
