Check it out. Makes sense. Only bike that's ever been stolen from me was a Honda. These numbers make sense to you guys and girls?

The most stolen bikes are Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki..big surprise. What a ridiculous story.
Is it? They're not worth the most money. I would have thought Harley would have been up there.
Most motorcycles are stolen via lifting them into a van. Ever tried to lift a harley?
No. why would i want to get oil all over me?

It's not a very useful report. It states the most stolen car is a Honda Civic and the most stolen bike BRAND is a Honda.
That's like saying the most stolen car is a Honda, which is true but not telling the whole story.
By being more specific they allow Honda Element drivers to breath a collective sigh of relief.
If they said the most stolen motorcycle was the Honda Ruckus, then we would have a better picture of what thieves were after...
As it is they merely tell us that the most popular motorcycle brand in the US is also the most stolen brand, the other stats
also reflect brand sales popularity.

Harleys don't get stolen as much because there's a big chance the owner will show up and beat you to death.
Sportbikes get stolen because they are easy to part out, and even if the little sissy that owns it shows up, they will run and call the police only to find out the cops don't give a **** and might show up in a few hours to take a report.
