I prefer Will Smith's "Gagnam Dance" better. At least it was kept within the context of the silly and absurd before the likes of the shameless spot light fiends (who take themselves way too seriously) of Hammer, Modanna, and Will I Am latched onto it.

FYI, this was way after Madonna & MC Hammer were famous.

FYI 1) I was refering to the horse riding dance, not the song. The SHG do not do the horsey dance.

FYI 2) Madona is old and is clinging to anything to keep in the limelight (Pussy Riot, Gagnam, exposing her wrinkled boobs on stage)

FYI 3) Will I Am has become a glam monster since the recruiting Fergy to add mainstream pep to the once credible BEP, who by the way had some of the best dance moves in the biz, but alas they sold out and opted for gimmicks, glam, and a meth head hooched up lead singer.

FYI 4) MC Hammer is an ego maniac who has been "soul searching" for anything to keep him in the spot light, and claiming that he is "one of the 3 dance movements to have shaken the planet", the other two being James Brown, MJ, and now the 4th being this Gagnam crap, is just another example of why we don't need hammer pants back! He forgot Elvis and the Macarena by the way!

So yeah, my point stands, the Gagnam fad has brought out a litany of spot light fiends and once again, at least Will Smith appreciated the silly side of it.

I don't hate the artist, just how everyone thinks everything is "Gagnam" including people who like to imagine they live a better life by posting as the artist...
 
Is Korea not entitled to their baseless crazes? Expect to see more Asian cultural cross over in the future. The Chinese movie industry has leap frogged India (in terms of sophistication and quality) in recent years for example, and is forming a very potent pro Chinese propaganda industry, much in the same fashion as Hollywood....case in point the new upcoming release of Lincoln.

Psy and his antics are fine....I just don't understand why everyone is acting like this is a NEW dance!!!!
