So last month I finally got motivated enough to get a motorcycle. I woke up one day, wrote my M1, signed up for rider's training, and bought a Ninja 250R and a set of riding gear.
Now it's three weeks later with training and my first 500km under my belt. I am thoroughly enjoying the hobby and am pushing myself to ride longer and father every day as that 60day M2 timer ticks away. I wish that I had started riding a long time ago, but I suppose I would have been too reckless as a teenager.
I am finding riding incredibly practical and exciting at the same time (not many things in life are). Also, I'm surprised at how friendly other riders (and retailers) have been, and am glad to find that community sites like this exist to keep the enthusiasm going even off the bike.
tl;dr -- Sup! Nice to meet ya! I'm a newbie, here's a pic of my Ninjette.
