That's a lot. Not to raise alarms yet, but I would expect a follow-up.Just did my second. They haven't been a big deal, but having a procedure done is never fun. 10 polyps removed this tim whatever that means.
Propofol is good stuff, Michael Jackson approved! (well, at least until the last one)My wife was a big fan of Fentanyl plus Medazolam. No bad feelings at all about the process. Upper Canada Lower Bowel Clinic. Good breakfast space ride beside to reload the digestive tract after the fast.
Yeah have to agree with what @Wind Shear said, that's quite a bit, and def should be a follow up with the doc to make sure they got it all, if it was easy to remove, and when you have to get scoped again.Just did my second. I'm not as accustomed to sharing details openly, but I will say, sounds exceedingly familiar.A few days after my 1st short one, I went for the long one. My surgeon told me... "you'll be lucky to see Xmas without surgery, and I'm booked until spring". That was beginning of May '18.
So.... I'm dying. First thing to do, buy a new Corvette.
May 26, phone rings.....Dr's office calls saying they got a spot in the O/R on the 29th.
They binned 70%-80% of my colon, sewed up my corn hole for 6 months, during which time all dignity was lost.
End of Oct, (6 months later) back in for surgery to reconnect my guts and I haven't seen a dr or surgeon since. (My dr retired during that 6 month bit, and I don't want a new one).
Don't be afraid to go. Extend your life!
We have different views on fun....The procedure is the easy part, you forgot to mention the prep before it, that's the fun part!
I really hope your user name here has nothing to do with it.Keep in mind that you will have some lifting restrictions after having the polyps removed. Not all "surgery checklists/memos" tell you that little tidbit, don't ask how i know.
So there i was thinking i don't remember eating any coffee grounds.I really hope your user name here has nothing to do with it.

Interesting! I guess the CO2 is absorbed by the tissue into the blood and then exhaled by the lungs?Having Crohn's, one must have regular colonoscopies. I really hate getting them done. I found a new Dr, they used CO2 instead of regular Air while using the scope. As a result after the procedure, I didn't have the typical pain in my intestine.
I am guessing that it has something to do with the environment. Pumping air containing oxygen into a space that rarely experiences oxygen may upset some of the little critters (either turbo-charged or dead) and maybe even the tissue. I suspect any inert gas would be preferable and they just pick a cheap one.Interesting! I guess the CO2 is absorbed by the tissue into the blood and then exhaled by the lungs?
Oh I believe that is exhaled another way... I know I build up gases in that area after eating certain foods.Interesting! I guess the CO2 is absorbed by the tissue into the blood and then exhaled by the lungs?
