I have been living in Mississauga for 20 years, have been insuring bikes there for about 15 years now. My current bikes have all roughly the same yearly rate of between 800-1000 bucks / yr doesn't matter which bike I want to ride.

I moved out of Mississauga "in transition" and living in Woodbridge waiting for my house to be completed in Richmond Hill. NOTHING HAS CHANGED, I am still me, I still have the same record as before, etc. etc. The only thing different is the postal code and now it doesn't matter who I go to for insurance its almost 2000 bucks / yr !!! WTF ?!?!

I checked the postal code for when I move to the new house in Richmond Hill and its back down to about 1200 bucks / yr.

WTF is up with the insurance rates here in the 'bridge ?!?!?!

Italians and modded cars? lol

Many many stupid accidents commonly occurring from people pulling uturns randomly without looking?

Too many people drive around the 'bridge like they own the whole place and DGAF about others. You'll see the 40+yr old Wives-of-Woodbridge in her C class rolling stop signs and drifting in lanes.

While yapping on her phone to another c class driving bimbo about nothing important. I see we've driven in the same areas :lmao:

Yep. But sub in SUV for C-class... or run down by a speeding d-bag in an Audi.

No one in Woodbridge stops at stop signs and they all run red lights.
And you'll never see a York cop pulling anyone over.

I don't think it's the Bridge. My premium is pretty much the same whether I'm in Woodbridge or Yonge and Sheppard or Bayview and 16th.

Oh, the 'bridge is definitely bad. I'd just say that it's not an isolated problem. I live at Bayview/16th and my insurance is just a few bucks more than what my bf pays in Woodbridge.

Damn Italians!

Richmond Hill sucks too. <insert disparaging remark about the heavily stereotyped group of drivers with whom I share a phenotypical appearance>

td has a y/e of Feb, so if you are not with them, you can switch over and they will prorate your policy until Feb. My Jevco/Intact expires mid July, TD will cover both bikes until Feb for less than 500 bucks, at which point the renewal is for a full year, about 200 bucks less than the old Jevco, but way less than the intact pricing.

Doooooosh drivers come in all kinds, the only common denominator is they are all driving cages of some sort and they are all out to kill you....but you already knew that.

m6 - postal code use to be bad because of the jane-finch corridor and south, but now it's all L postal codes because of bramladesh, from georgetown to richmondhill, this has jacked my rates up in mississauga, thanx alot you jack assess.

They wanted 87 more per month when I went from Oakville to Mississauga.
