That's pretty cool info, but the inability to judge oneself seems to apply to everybody, not just those who are particularly incompetent.

The best part of that article though is about how we make judgements of others in order to flatter ourselves. I think it explains a lot about how threads degrade here.

Luckily I'm one of the few good posters on this forum. But some of the other posts make me facepalm.

dont ask the date, lets just say you use to be able to to 70 mph on the 400 series highways

80cc yamaha beluga here 23 year ago rode out near the airport to the min city driving test area in the middle of January got the full M bought a bike 3 years ago.
 
This applys to 99% of the population except for me.
 
I have to start on a 600 because I am a hothead. I needed something that can outrun the cops without much skill.
