I had the mis-pleasure of finding out that I'm back down to 0.000 bac, 2.5 hours after a bottle of canadian. That was a nerve wracking breathalyzer. The officer didn't seem like he was going to give me any breaks had I read anything above 0.

They can. What I'm not certain about, is that they can accurately read zero BAC.
