I rode down 507 last Saturday - it was in as good a shape as I've ever seen it (not saying much).
I rode down 507 today, and for a few klms it has been all chewed up and covered in loose gravel,
with billowing dust that made it even more treacherous.
If you much use it - take care and keep your distance from others.

I heard that a few years ago residents in those areas were throwing sand and gravel on the roads on purpose to slow down the bikes.
I had even heard that police warned a few residents not to do this. Don't know if this part was true.

Drove south on Sunday and fresh gravel from just north of the OPP station for about 5 kms. Repaving using the chip and seal process.

I was up that way on June 4th and a huge chunk of it was large gravel. Not a fun time.
