Hung up on age????

I guess i got it all wrong from what i read on these posts, I believed that if you try to be a good sensible rider with your wits about you that was the main criteria. Now i find out that its all about age, if your young: your wreckless, if your old: your senile and both of these overpower common sense. Which begs another age related question young people look at old people (over 40) as past their prime, when in fact arent they more seasoned. Old people look at young people (under 30) as kids with newby tendencies, when in fact arent their reflexes quicker. Leading back to I still believe a good sensible rider with wits about them regardless of age, is the best rider out there, Shiny side up, rubber side down and watch out for the cagers. Peace, Life, Freeedom!

You're only as old as the woman you are feeling.
Or something like that.

My 73 yr old riding buddy just had the insurance on his R1 cancelled by TD. No reason given so have to assume it's his age.

Truth be told, he was a scary guy to ride with as he had a tendency to not signal, look over his shoulder and needed too many naps and pee breaks while enroute anywhere. Oh ya, he toked every night and was known to drop his ride at stop lights so we usually asked him to stay way behind us. All true.

Aren't, Newbie. Try spell check. Newby is the Newfoundland version. :)
