A 12-year-old Toronto boy has been arrested after police found a loaded gun stashed in his bedroom.

Police found the weapon — a Luger 9-mm pistol — wrapped in pyjamas early last Wednesday at a house in the Lansdowne Ave.-Queen St. W. area.

Maybe he was keeping it for an older owner until needed. This kid will get a Young Offender Act slap on the wrist for it, whereas an older offender would be looking at jail time if it had been found in his crib.

Given that this kid's had several other run ins with the police, it's just a matter of time before he sees the inside of a cell.
