You can do drug runs with it

I am seriously considering selling my Duc to sponsor entry in Manx GP or track days at Philip Island.

... but then there's something to be said for whores and heroin.
 
Well if it were between those two options I'd probably choose the Ducati. Otherwise, if it were me, I'd probably use it as a down payment on a home.

after you are done with the duc, there's no tail end, you just sell the bike...

after you're done with number 2, your left with a bunch of things that possibly could linger
 
i wouldnt buy that new ducati. i got suckered in to the 1098 when it came out. great engine. horrible handling with a weight bias to the rear, i have owned 15 differnet ducatis ( to all those who dont like this comment, yes i have bike and car race experience and won the amateur 250 gp race at mosport in 2002 so im not an armchair quarterback) i would spend the 25k on a few bikes. used aprilia rsv4, 600 track bike and some kinda cafe racer street bike that you think is cool. or wait to see how the panignale is and then buy a used one

Whichever one makes you the happiest.

For me, I'd use the money to travel. Nothing like a little adventure. You can even stimulate the international hooker economy if thats your thing.
 
I would go with travel as I'm not into track and playing on the streets gets you involved with either the cops or ambulances.
