How to Map a Multi-Point Route in Google Maps

Google maps is limited to 10 add destinations. Anyway to add more?

Yes.

Map 10 points on gmaps.
Map 10 more on another gmaps chrome tab. Ensure that the first point here is after the last point on the first gmaps route.
Copy paste both in notepad.

From the first URL, remove everything post the "@" symbol

From the 2nd URL, Copy everything ahead of "dir" up until the "@" symbol, and paste it to the 1st URL

Paste the modified URL to your browser

And there you have it - more than 10 destinations:

thanks for this!

Protip, if you cant find the 'send to my phone/email' link after doing this, just zoom your browser(not the map) out a few increments, and you will find the link to send map to your phone/email again!

another pro tip, if for some reason in the middle of your trip you need to use google maps, while using you're way points, DONT!

it will glitch out the entire route and act as if you're at start of your route instead of your current location, and no matter how many times you fiddle with it, it wont work right. (thankfully by then I had the entire route memorized in my head, and could plot out the individual spots I wanted to go to.)

This should be a sticky

Not sure what you mean as you're already in Google Maps ... do you mean use it to do something else besides follow the route you gave it?

From what I read, if you are using gmaps - you have a route mapped out that you are following - on your phone - and if you change it to another set of directions, you will completely lose the previous route.

This is true. In those circumstances, I click on the route link saved in my messages, remove the waypoints that I have covered, and continue on the waypoints ahead of my location.

Yes this exactly, I tried deleting my old way points but it didn't really work, must have been doing something wrong.

Oh i get it now, you have to individually and manually delete the old way points one by one, kind of tedious with 20 waypoints but it works
