I like the ruckus associated with my door opening...always wakes me and the dog up just in case.

I just sprayed mine with my Dupont Teflon Chain lube on all of the places the video pointed out.
It made a BIG difference. Open and close the door a few times.
Stand inside and listen for the areas making noise and of course spray them.
I think white lithium spray grease might work better for longevity but the Dupont stuff took 5 minutes to apply and is readily available.
As he said, something is better than nothing.
