how to clean coffee spill from car carpet?

hi there, spilled coffee in car. rubber mat caught most but some still went on carpet. was out so only used paper towels and cleaned up what i could.

does anyone know where i can rent a pro carpet cleaner to clean the car? home depot? thanks.
 
Depending on how perfect you want it you can get clean up kits at Crappy Tire. One of them and a wet / dry shop vac should be pretty good. Some people use soda water to clean stains but I'm a total slob. There is so much dried coffee / dirt on my van carpet it feels like fiberglass.
 
+1 on The Bissell Little Green spot cleaner. With a dog and two young boys (well not so young now) we have got excellent use out of ours. It would do your coffee spot no problems.
 
I find this stuff works amazing for stains on carpet... especially grease or oil stains:

A toothbrush, that stuff, and a vacuum cleaner afterwards to get rid of the dried up grit and you're golden!

haha i use that to clean my hands at work. never knew it works with carpet stains lol

does it work on salt stains?
 
laundry detergent mixed in hot water, and a brush will get it out, it also works wonders for salt stains.
