Nice to see the popo in disarray once in a while. They don't know what to do in these situations. They look like fools.

Very unlikely everyone got away.

damn! No shoot out. I for sure thought the cops would have started shooting.
That was a lot of Cops that were waiting or got there quickly.

Those poor innocent civialian riders that have done nothing wrong (If you don't count the multiple law breaking every minute).
So they are mad because they got hit while driving the wrong way up an on ramp?

I don't feel bad for anyone in that ride for whatever happened to them as they knew full and well what type of ride they were going for and clearly knew that 95% of the riders there are going to be breaking the law and egging on the cops.

And the guys riding their SS's through the ditch didn't?

^^ I agree with this. There are ways to ride, have fun and not be a total moron and wondering why the cops are nailing you for doing illegal things. The guys riding through the ditch deserve everything they get. I love hearing "poor me, poor me" when said rider(s) are clearly douchewaffles who are ruining it for everyone else. :thebirdman:

What about the innocent passengers?

BY far the biggest idiots in this video are the retards running from cops with their GFs on the back.
For all I care they should have rammed those guys at highway speed, except the ones with passengers. If PIT maneuvers are acceptable on cars they should be acceptable on bikes. I doubt tumble on the highway with full gear is much worse than crashing in a car after a PIT maneuver. No gear? Tough luck.

I don't get why the police set up the roadblock (but perhaps whatever prompted that was prior to the start of the video shown).

On the video, there were no wheelies, and no one was going particularly fast.

If I remember from the original news report, wherever they were riding, they aren't allowed to obstruct the entire highway/all lanes.

It didn't sound like it was the first time they did it.

Search youtube for "ride of the century"
half the bikes have no license plates and probably no insurance as tons are stunt bikes, hell they even have 4 wheelers riding around on the highway.

Do you think if they crash and cause damage or injury to anyone other then themselves they are going to stick around?

These guys have the same mentality of the G-20 protestors except they are on 2 wheels.

ROC is a crazy thing, and most where there to either cause trouble(stunt on public roads) or watch it happen. I'd be in the latter group :) As JJ said, search on Youtube and you can see why the cops were being pissy. Now I believe necessary force might have been exceeded by the cops at some points as a large caged cruiser vs a sportbike isn't fair unless they are shooting at the cops or civilians IMO. But with the amount of crap they'd had to put up with I can ALMOST see why they did what they did.

Though if we watch enough videos you will see some of these stunters pay the price by their own hands.

There are plenty of videos from this "ROC" ride on youtube -- including the ones where people were doing burnouts on the highway infront of the police etc. And just being all round **********.

I'm all for police brutality in this case.

Have these rides ever held up or run ambulances or fire engines off of the road like that?

Or is the idea that if you've chosen to have a heart attack during their ride time, too bad, it's your own fault.

Agreed, sounds like a similar story already took place around here but the ending was far worse..
