Why do I suspect the answer is; use common sense and don’t break the law.

That was well done. No surprises in it for most of us but I'm sure many members of the general public would be surprised by some of what he said.

I would be surprised if many of those charges got laid more than once a year, especially the E-bike helmet and window tint. That was well done. No surprises in it for most of us but I'm sure many members of the general public would be surprised by some of what he said.
Window tint is normally value added. I would be shocked if that was a sole ticket on a stop. I was shocked that a cop ever talked to an ebike rider yet alone issued a ticket. They seem to be protected from consequences of their actions.I would be surprised if many of those charges got laid more than once a year, especially the E-bike helmet and window tint.
The window tint regs likely have more to do with law enforcement fishing trips than coupons issued.I would be surprised if many of those charges got laid more than once a year, especially the E-bike helmet and window tint.
My ex got a window tint one for a car that had arguably legal tint on the side windows. Black car with black interior makes 40% look very dark. Just paid it and carried on. Interesting that the unmarked police SUV that pulled her over had much darker tint at the time.Window tint is normally value added. I would be shocked if that was a sole ticket on a stop. They still do not have a legal tint level for a ticket. Reading between the lines by looking at tint level required to pass a safety and it is 70% VLT. I don't think I have ever seen a car with tinted windows at 70% VLT. More like 40% VLT and less.My ex got a window tint one for a car that had arguably legal tint on the side windows. You sure? Over 30 years ago I worked for AHA limo builders when they were at they,re peak and window tint was on the radar back then. These guys were huge back then. They must have had at least 100 caddy’s and Lincoln’s as Work In Progress at any one time. They still do not have a legal tint level for a ticket. I don't understand. I know lots of people have tinted windows. I don't know of any with 70% VLT and aftermarket tint. Hell, many cars come stock with windshield and side windows marked at 70% VLT. I haven't measured them to see if this is just labelling or if they are already at max level for safety. You sure?
