How do I send money to the US?

I've been searching for highway pegs for my bike for years and finally found a set owned by an elderly man in Texas. How the hey to I send him money?

Are Western Union or wire transfer my only electronic options?
 
I believe BMO still has a Western Union association. We've used it for sending funds to Poland before through the BMO site.

E-Transfer should be fine, but not sure about the US v CAD amounts, and how the bank converts it if his account is in US and yours is CAD.
 
Is that for a KLR? I built a combo tool tube hi way pegs set up for mine and they work mint.
Super comfy for the long haul. No more dangling my feet off pegs near the end of a long day.

Double check in what currency you are paying in, mostly likely the default is in U.S dollars.
From your CAD bank account to his U.S account, there might be a currency exchange charge that is higher than average.
If you want to pay in CAD from your CAD account , you have find the option and select that option (little tricky to find)
All this , if I remembered correctly, I experienced a few years ago. Things probably have changed but just a heads up
 
You could use xe to drop it straight into his account. He would need to give you his account number though and I sure wouldnt give that out to some internet stranger.
