Hii im 16 years old with my M1 and planning to take the MSF course but just dont have time but in 60 days when i can take my m2 road test it will be winter time... how am i suppose to do the test in the winter? Also i was wondering what would happen if i didnt take the m2 road test in 90 days would i have to re write the m1 test :|

I believe course season ends in November. I'm not sure about the ministry m1 exit test during the winter months. You will need to provide your own bike if you choose to go through the ministry. Highly recommended you do a course before the season is up.

Once the M1 expires after 90 days, you have to re-write (not 100% sure, but doubt you can renew a 90-day license).

You can take the MSF course now, I strongly suggest that you do as soon as possible, while the weather is still peachy.

You don't have to wait 60 days to take the course, but you DO have to wait 60 days to submit the white envelope you get at the end of the course.

If you let 90 days go by and you haven't taken the m1 exit course, the M1 expires and you have to take the written test again. There goes $17 dollars to waste ;-)

As an additive to what Cockblock said;
If you let your M1 expire, the next time you write it you don't need to wait the 60 days to do the test or hand in the envelope the next time. Although it is highly suggested to get your license ASAP, for earlier insurance breaks/etc.

I'm pretty sure safety course season is coming to an end. However, I do know that some colleges and other programs have dates until the end of September. I advise you however to take the course before the whether get's all bad and stuff, also getting your license sooner will help with lower insurance once you get a bike! Good luck and safe riding!

U can't go to take the test directly since your 60 days will be past the point of the their test offerings. You can go take the MSF course, do your m2 test there,then hand it it when your 60 days are done.

I did my m1 before and let it expire and I still had to wait 60 days..?

Rti goes until the snow flies downtown. Done courses right up to at least the first week of November.

As mentioned. Write your m1. Go sign up, do course and get paperwork. 60 days after the date you wrote m1 go hand in paperwork at mto.

Have fun

if you let your m1 expire you dont have to wait the 90 days . write your m1 and book your test. test was easy and forgiving in burlington anyways. but the serpintine is easier with a smaller bike. but you can redo if your having difficulty.
some places goto to november but are booked up quick, you have to call around or ask the ministry who still does it!

I had the same issue when I got mine.. wrote my m1 in October, wouldn't have been able to get my m2 until December. But I just took the msf the next day after writing my m1 and then handed in the envelop in December so I had my m2 for spring.
