How can I use the quote function?

In the past I could click the quote button and have it appear in the reply box. Now it just says "multiple quote added" but nothing shows up. What am I screwing up here.

If you want a single quote, click reply on a post. If you want multi-quote, click Quote on multiple posts and then reply at the bottom of a thread and you can select which of your quoted posts to include using "insert quotes" button.

When you click on the reply box, a box will pop up under saying, "Insert Quotes". Hit that and you can reorder the quotes you selected, hit OK, and they'll be inserted into the reply...

This is only useful if you want to quote more than one post. If it's just one, hit 'reply' as @george__ says...
