How about this track?

This is a Go Cart "Shifter Cart" track. They run 80cc and 125cc 2-stroke shifter carts, they shift 22 times each lap and hit up to 100 mph on the front straight. Track direction is clockwise. I checked it out this weekend since it is less than one hour from me, it is located in Morristown New York. I was thinking that some of us local people might be able to get together for a fun weekend depending on insurance etc.

And from the air, remember it is run clockwise

Pretty serious lack of runoff in turn 6 (lh hairpin)

What's the track length? Any idea?

I used my Cad software and made a line around the center of the track using the outside loop and the track measures just over 3/4 of a mile. Would be fun for smaller bikes, 250cc, 500cc, and 650 cc twins.

Looks awfully narrow.

Being this is a short track with lots of turns I thought this might be really fun for bikes like 25occ to 500cc and some of the 650cc v-twins. I was thinking the supersport 600 and up bikes might be a bit much on a short track like this and the smaller twins might be the fun way to go.

Most karting tracks are usually about 20ft wide, TMP is at least 10 wider than that (if not a bit more) I am assuming SMP is as well.

They have a no bike policy(insurance reasons)

There were a few of use that tried to get an Asphalt only Supermoto race done there a few years ago when the ESMRA series lost a couple of tracks.

I met with the owner, he has no problems with Bikes, he let me in to check it out. He told me he has had some guys on Supermoto bikes there in the past. With the tough economy maybe things have changed?

Looks like a lovely supermoto ground, or 250 suitable as well. Either way I'd be a game.

That looks like fun:) Where is this place? Anyone know how far from Toronto this is? David you planning on having a TC day there?

Also interested in more details on the location Dave.

Do they offer kart rentals?

It's onl;y a track, no rentals or facilities on site. used for events, some shifter cart races etc. It is located in New York right outside Morristown, at the intersection of routes 12, 37 and 58. Not sure what I will do, first I think I am going to go up with a couple friends a spend a day on it, see how that works and see what we might be able to do from there.
