going to orlando next month for a couple days, and was wondering where to find the best deals? has anyone used priceline? any suggestions are appreciated!

not exactly what your looking, but we got %60 off for last min reservations in vegas at booking.com and hotels.com. both had the same deal actually.

Might want to check out airbnb.com. Not exactly hotels but you could score an awesome place.

not sure what type of hotel you are targeting, but if you have CAA you can get preferred pricing plus additional stays on some places, i.e pay 3 nights get the fourth free. If you bokk via Priceline, booking etc, they dont honour this. Sometimes the cost of the extra night outweighs the savings available vis Priceline and others.

Do you due diligence.

FWIW, we stayed at the Double Tree by Seaworld a couple of nights. it was reasonably priced, clean and an overall good value. Pretty easy to get to most places in the area, attractiona and the convention centre

I booked with hotwire... you dont know ahead of time what you get but they give you the price( which was $60 per) and the rating ( 4 outta 5).... so after we booked, it showed we got the doubletree by hilton. 2 nights was $140 all in! Not bad.

This is all the same company.

I've personally had good success with booking.com (ease of use, accurate reviews, good deals). Most recently used them for hotels in IL, IA, NY, MA and NH.

Hotwire works for me and there are forums that help you identify the "unknown" hotels so there's a little less of a gamble for some popular areas.

IHG Reward Nights...free nights is awesome. Especially when its a tourist destination and hotel rooms are nose bleed prices but it takes same number of points to book as cheap locations.
