I copied this from a different bike forum. Followed the link and I have access to the archive. Older issues usually included a couple motorcycle stories.


For anybody who cares, 70 years of Hot Rod Magazine appears to be available for free.
I didn't sign up for a free trial, I just put my Google account name in and pow. To test it I looked up the May 1969 article "Honda's Big 4" about the CB750. Kewl stuff made in 69'. Probably my favorite year.

Years ago I ran into a professional photographer that took a lot of pictures of Honda motorcycle for their brochures and advertising. The brilliance of the originals was phenomenal. I should have asked about copies from the original negatives.

When Ann Murray was in her prime she did a promo album for a coffee company and I was involved in a small way in the producing the printing plates for the cover. The photo of her was beautiful. Getting the album meant bugging the neighbours for all their coffee package labels to get the required points. The end product was so disappointing as all the colour and detail was washed out.
